U-Turn Orbit Custom Walnut Turntable w/ Preamp Cue Acrylic Ortofon Red Upgrades

U-Turn Orbit Custom Turntable - this is listed as seller refurbished because I just got it back from U-Turn support directly who did the work (pivot clamp within the tonearm was set too tight, they replaced the radial bearings as well) I listened to maybe a disc or two a week for a month on it before it was skipping a bit which is why it was sent back for the work and it is still sitting in the shipping box as I type this out. It comes with a warranty that should last up until April '22 and their support team seems fantastic and extremely helpful.
This is a bit pricier of a turntable since it is very custom and comes with the following upgrades:
- Solid walnut color with satin finish ()
- Acrylic Platter ()
- Ortofon Red needle cartridge ( sounds AMAZING)
- Cue lever ( a must have IMO)
- Built-in Pluto 2 Preamp ()
All of it comes out to be a 9 (plus shipping) turntable brand new and I've sunk a bit more into it to send it back and repair it. I LOVE the sound the Ortofon Red cartridge delivers and it's such a beautiful table, I just don't think this is the right one for me since it's a bit more manual than I personally am looking for (and when I contacted them for repair I was just outside of my 30 day window to return it outright, hence selling it here so I can find the one right for me)
