  • Condition: Boxes show some edge and corner wear with some mottling and/or soiling to two ends. The “1925” roll shows minor chipping to the first 3 ½” of the right edge of the roll. One end of the black cylinder has an edge piece missing but does not affect using the roll. The “1926 roll shows minor chipping along the first 3” of the left edge of the roll. The “1927” roll shows minor chipping along the first 4 1/2” of the right edge of the roll. are in good to very good condition. See photos.

    Up for bid are three 1920s Ampico Player Piano Rolls of Christmas Songs arranged and played by Adam Carroll with descriptive
    story (and included songs) at the beginning of each roll (see photos 3, 5 & 7) by Sigmund Spaeth.
    -1925 Roll-“Toyland” A Christmas Fantansie which includes a medley of “Toyland”, Godard’s Jocelyn, Holy Night, Adestes Fideles, London Brides, Farmer in the Dell & “Now the Day is Over”.
    -1926 Roll-The Story of Christmas. This includes; While Sheperds Wat6che Their Flocks by Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem, Holy Night, Adeles Fideles, Joy to the World, O Come Little Children, Jingles Bells, Softly Now the Light of Day
    -1927 Roll-“Grandma;s Christmas” Songs include Long, Long Ago, When You and I Were Young, Up in a Balloon, Bicycle Built for Two, Sweet Genevieve, The Old Oaken Bucket, Turkey in the Straw, Clementine, In the Gloaming, Silver Threads Among the Gold, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, The Mistletoe Bough, Bemberg’s melody to Il Neige, Tramp, Tramp, Tramp, Grandfather’s Clock, The Second Minuet and Love’s Old Sweet Song.
