    Description

    This is the platter from the Technics 1200 GR turntable.  I bought this to upgrade my 1200 MK7 turntable.  It did sound better than the original MK7 platter, but in the meantime, I found a great price on a GR turntable and decided to buy it.  With this purchase, this platter becomes an extra part, so I've decided to offer it to other MK7 owners.  The original MK7 platter weighs less than 4 pounds and the GR platter weighs over 5 pounds and it makes a difference you can clearly hear. This platter will fit on the MK7 version without any modifications.  Just take your MK7 platter off and put this one on and you will be ready to go. You can feel the difference in the weight of the two platters as soon as you pick up the GR platter. The platter is in excellent condition, like it is brand new.
