Technics Model # Sl-D30 Direct Drive Turntable

Description

Does not have a cover and needs a stylus.  What does work is when turned on the strobe light comes on and the turntable spins as it should. The tone arm swings over to the record and lowers as it should.  If no record is on the turntable, the tone arm will not swing over.  and will turn itself off. The thing that concerns me is there is a hum when unit is turned on through my receiver speakers.  Everything is there, except for the cover and existing stylus.
