For Sarah, this meant schlepping a ton of bags to and from home on her commute. Carrying a bag for her breast pump and pump accessories, a bag for her laptop, as well as her purse, she knew that there had to be a more functional, yet stylish solution for working moms using a breast pump. After discussing with family and new mom friends, meeting a mentor, developing a prototype, and finding a manufacturer, Sarah Wells Bags was born. “This is the most rewarding job. About Sarah
Sarah is a 30-something mama living in the VA area with her two girls, Maddy (7), Abby (3), and husband Greg. She's a yoga-pant-loving, Thai-food-obsessed, photographer-wanna-be, always-inventing-things-entrepreneur. Before starting Sarah Wells Bags, Sarah led several national nonprofits, where she raised millions of dollars for women’s health and consumer advocacy issues. Sarah Wells Bags is the brainchild of this mad-scientist inventor/advocate who struggled with breastfeeding her first born.
