Rare European PYGMY car AM radio - untested

Description

This is a real oddball and a definitely rare French made PYGMY car radio.
It looks like it only has AM frequency. It has 5 preset stations including Europe 1, France Inter and RTL (Radio Television Luxembourg).
The 2 knobs function as they should. The left turns the radio on / off and adjust the volume, and the right one scrolls the dial back & forth. The buttons for preset stations move the dial automatically and are working.
Looking at it, I’d say it is from the 1960’s and was most likely originally installed on a Citroen.
