Description
NOTE: The appropriate voltage for this machine is
100 V
. The freaquency is 50 hz or 60 Hz.
This products was for Japanese market.
For North American buyer:
I advise a buyer to use external transfomer to step down voltage to around 100 V even if voltage in your country is around 110 to 120 V. The machine gets hotter if you use it for a long time, therefore it shortens the life of this machine.
Tip:
If you use this on 120 V, the volage becomes just 1.2 times, some people say it is not a big deal,
but its watt will be square. 1.2 x 1.2 = 1.44 times. would get 1.44 times hotter than normal. It might not be a big deal, but I want you to be aware of this.
European, Oceanian, or Asian buyer:
-If your country's voltage is 220 V to 240 V, please don't use this without external transformer. The machine will be toasted.
If you want to replace the internal transformer and install the one adapted to your country's voltage, please ask a technician in your country. I saw other seller sell a transformer parts for SL-1200 on ebay.
I ask this again after you purchase in order to avoid trouble. Thank you.
I got an old SL1200 MK3 recently. I don't know the history of this SL 1200, but it seems the owner had been used this with care.
