    Description

    Antique ZEE SUNG Chinese Sterling Silver Cigarette Case Jewelry Dresser Box.
    Engraved on lid "Presented to Mr. & Mrs. G.G. Clarke by the Union Church Badminton Club 13-12-1935". Made by Zee Sung, a well known silversmith in Shanghai, China in late 19th and early 20th century.
    Dimensions:  5" x 3 1/2" x 2", Weight: 12.7 ounces or 360.1 grams including lined wood. Stamped on bottom ZEESUNG SILVER and Chinese maker's mark.
    Excellent condition. Slight hammered pattern. 1 or 2 tiny  dings, consistent with its age and use. No damage  or repair. Hinge works great. Lid closes fully and securely. Wood is wrapped up nicely with silver. Lined wood is intact and clean. Ready to use.
    A well made nice Chinese sterling box. Displayable and presentable.
