Antique Chinese Cloissone Enamel Paint Decorated Tea Opium Spice Tobacco Jar

Description

Very finely decorated antique or vintage Chinese cloisonné covered box with enamel painted panels measuring approximately 4 inches in height. Very good condition as described above with only very minor wear from age and normal use...see photo with arrow pointing to surface grime or manufacturing imperfection. In addition to the finely worked cloisonné there are two enamel painted vignettes one with grapes the other with auspicious cranes. On the lid there is a very mysterious lady languishing under a tree branch. Interior in excellent condition as well. Weighs 13.4 ounces.
