Description

Beautiful antique Chinese cinnabar box with finely carved scenes of 2 boys. The round box is 3-1/4" tall with lid on, and base is 3" in diameter. This box has metal base, the cinnabar lacquer is built up over metal which is visible on bottom from wear. There is some whitish discoloration on one side of box, I have not tried to clean.
